CACREP Self-Study & Report Support
Thoughtful CACREP consulting informed by over fifteen years of experience across standards, cycles, and institutional contexts.
Consulting Services
CACREP Self-Study & Report Support
I provide hands-on consulting to support the planning, drafting, and refinement of CACREP self-studies, including guidance on narrative development, tables, appendices, and documentation strategy. This includes support for new self-studies, reaffirmation, and mid-cycle reviews.
Services may include:
section-by-section narrative consultation
document review and revision
internal readiness checks prior to submission
alignment of evidence with stated program processes
Faculty Ratio Audits & Workload Analysis
I assist programs in conducting faculty ratio audits and workload analyses to ensure alignment with CACREP standards and institutional expectations. This work is especially valuable for programs navigating growth, staffing changes, affiliate faculty use, or delivery-format shifts.
Support may include:
credit hour and teaching load analysis
core vs. affiliate faculty documentation
faculty role clarification and narrative support
preparation of ratio explanations for CACREP review
Curriculum Mapping & Standards Alignment
I work with programs to map curriculum to CACREP standards in ways that are clear, defensible, and educationally meaningful. This includes helping programs articulate how learning outcomes are developed across courses, experiences, and supervision structures.
This work often supports:
new or revised curricula
multi-track or multi-delivery programs
clearer alignment between syllabi, outcomes, and assessment
preparation of curriculum tables and narratives
Accreditation Leadership Mentoring
For program directors, coordinators, and department leaders, I offer mentoring focused on accreditation leadership. This includes support for decision-making, faculty communication, process planning, and role navigation during accreditation cycles.
This mentoring is particularly helpful for:
first-time CACREP coordinators
newly appointed program leaders
leaders managing accreditation alongside other administrative roles
SoTL-Informed Program Design
Drawing on the scholarship of teaching and learning, I support programs in designing structures and processes that are both accreditation-aligned and pedagogically intentional. This work helps programs move beyond “checking boxes” toward integrated, reflective program design.
Consultation may include:
internship and supervision structure design
assessment planning grounded in learning outcomes
documentation of innovative or low-residency models
preparation for SoTL-related dissemination
Let’s Talk
CACREP consulting is most effective when it is context-specific and collaborative. I work with programs to understand their goals, constraints, timelines, and institutional realities before proposing a scope of support.
If you are:
preparing for a self-study or mid-cycle review
navigating faculty or curriculum changes
stepping into accreditation leadership
seeking a thoughtful external perspective
…I welcome a conversation about whether consulting support would be helpful.
Let’s talk.
My experience…
With over fifteen years of CACREP leadership and consulting experience, I have worked across the 2009, 2016, and 2024 standards, supporting multiple mid-cycle reviews, two full accreditation cycles, and the successful initial accreditation of a doctoral program in 2014. My experience includes curriculum and credit change approvals, digital delivery and substantive change reporting, faculty ratio advocacy, and the development of accreditation narratives that align institutional processes with CACREP expectations.
